September 12-15

The third IMIG Conference was held in Créteil, France, September 12-15,1995. This meeting continued to expand its range, increasing the number of speakers and areas of research.  There were presentations on epidemiology, basic researches on mesothelioma biology and pathology, as well as clinical aspects including immunotherapy and gene therapy.  Topics such as p16, c-fos, comparative genomic hybridization, staging for mesothelioma were introduced.  The international and collaborative aspects of IMIG and the community of international mesothelioma research was further reinforced.
