The iMig meeting in Boston MA was the largest iMig meeting yet.
Organized by the Conference Chairs Drs. Raphael Bueno and David Sugarbaker, the three day meeting included 506 participants from 25 countries. There were nearly 100 oral presentations and 174 poster presentations. Interestingly, in this global meeting, abstract submissions that were almost equally balanced from North America (32%), Europe (39%) and Asia (28%).
In addition to General Sessions, Oral Presentations and Poster Sessions, the meeting included Workshops on novel therapeutics, multimodality therapies, immunotherapy, imaging, chemotherapy and more.
The meeting succeeded in providing opportunities to discuss and establish collaborations.
The Welcome Reception was held at the Harborview Ballroom. The iMig night took place at the Top of the Hub on the 50th floor of the Prudential Center, where the Travel Awards and Young Investigator Awards were presented; the Wagner Medal was presented to Dr. Joseph R. Testa.
